Each of the 19 buildings on display at Pioneer Village has its own unique place here. Each has been donated to the Society to help preserve an historical representation of its original purpose, of course, but beyond that, the rooms hold carefully crafted and interpreted displays and exhibits. These have been organized to give our visitors a chance to do more than read about the history in a book or encyclopedia or watch a documentary or movie about it.
